Women And Motorcycles

For over 100 years men have dominated the world of motorcycles. But with in the past 10 years or so women riders have increased by leaps and bounds. Owning a motorcycle isn’t just for the boys anymore. Women as well as men love the biker lifestyle and find it very attractive. Women are attracted to motorcycles for mostly the same reasons as men which made owning their own motorcycle an important part their life. Riding a motorcycle is thrilling, requires skill and practice, and makes us feel alive too.

"We want to look good while we ride. I purchased chaps then quickly sent them off to be customized. I don’t necessarily want my chaps to look like all the rest; some bling here, some color there. I t all makes me happy while I ride. My husband doesn’t get that, but that is ok. He bought his leather coat at a garage sale. Next I may get a tank bib to hold my cell phone that is color coordinated to match by bike. He won’t get that either. So, now I am safer and looking pretty good at the same time, and am still loving the ride. Could this get any better?" Actually it can. Harley Davidson boots are now made for women riders with women in mind. The same safety protection as the "guys" require, are now made for ladies! As well as motorcycle helmets made all pretty for us too, with still being DOT approved. Women Also have a wide variety ofvests and jackets to choose from also.
